2020 has been a year unlike any other. But as we approach the year’s end, our thoughts aren’t about the challenges that we’ve faced. Our focus is on the successes that we’ve had.
In 2020, 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C. has taken a situation that could have easily forced us to close our doors permanently, and turned it into an opportunity to strengthen, and exponentially grow our programming, and support for our youth and our broader community.
From scholarships awarded, to direct support for food-insecure individuals in our community, to the largest number of young men and women registering for our Saturday Leadership Academy, and our co-ed STEM Academy, 2020 truly has been A SPECIAL TIME.
Unfortunately, the young men and women that we serve aren’t immune to the realities of what is going on in the world today. We’ve seen first-hand that it’s had a profound impact on them in a variety of ways. And they need our support now more than ever. But in the success, as well as in the struggle, one thing is certain. We will stand with them. And we ask that you stand with us in this SPECIAL CAUSE.
For 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C., our singular focus is to support our youth. To provide mentorship, opportunity, and exposure. We pour everything we have into them, and unreservedly give of our time, talent, and treasure.
The reason we do it is because we’ve been blessed, and we want to give back a small portion of what we’ve been given. It is A SPECIAL TIME. We work for A SPECIAL CAUSE. If you believe in the value, and the potential of our youth, we ask that you GIVE A SPECIAL GIFT Today.
Thank you for your support of 100 Black Men of the Greater Washington D.C. and our efforts to improve the lives of young men and women in our community.
