The 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C. celebrated another successful year for 2022. The chapter conducted its 4th Annual Achievement Luncheon & Closing Ceremony on April 30th, 2022 with more than 200 distinguished guests in attendance. The celebratory event recognized the chapters high school and middle school mentees of the year, awarded scholarships to our (3) graduating high school seniors, presented graduation gifts to our (4) Howard University Collegiate 100 graduates, and inducted 16 new members into the Collegiate 100 at Howard University. In total presenting over $20,000 in awards and scholarships.
Delegate Nick Charles, Chairman of the Prince George’s County House Delegation, recognized the high school graduates, mentees of the year, and Collegiate 100 graduates with citations for their accomplishments.
Lastly, Founding Member, David Bowers, President and CEO of No Murders DC presented the 2nd Annual Founders’ Scholarship to an exceptionally deserving mentee.
